Honoring WWII Veterans at Conard High

West Hartford Life article on Tim
Lynn Woike interview, Sept 2009
Brennan: The [energy] issue compels me for many reasons, including doing our part to combat global warming, to be free from foreign sources of energy, for our health… and most magically of all, we can accomplish all of that while saving a tremendous amount of money in our budget. And, the savings come without reducing any services. You’re just reducing a cost. Every dollar you save on energy supports other key services.

Energy savings over $1 million in first year
In his first term in office, Deputy Mayor Tim Brennan took the lead on energy conservation as the sponsor of Connecticut’s first Comprehensive Energy Plan. The plan was unanimously approved by the Town Council and marked a new beginning in West Hartford’s commitment to conserving energy and saving money - over $1 million this year. Full implementation of the plan will save another million dollars or more.

West Hartford Veterans' Commission Empaneled
